Last month we hosted two unforgettable press & influencer events in honour of our SS24 collection Sense of Nature.🌿 We hopped across the pond to host a cocktail drop in hour in NYC to present the collection to the US press & influencers, allowing them to delve into the narrative of Alex’s creative journey and inspiration behind the collection. 🐝 Later in May we held an event at our flagship Covent Garden boutique. We worked with London Refinery in creating a sensory experience for the UK press and influencers. Attendees were able to craft fragrances based around the collection, allowing a sensory story of the collection to unfold! ✨ Take a look at some photos from our events below! 📷

Last week team AM joined Friends of the Earth for their summer reception. At Alex Monroe, Friends of the Earth holds a special place in our hearts. Our partnership, spanning over six years, has allowed us to contribute to important causes and create beautiful pieces that raise awareness. The event highlighted their impressive achievements, including their recent victory against the government in high court over their unlawful climate plan and their ongoing efforts leading up to next month's election. Joycelyn Longdon also shared her conservation work and research in Bioacoustics in Ghana, while Kevin McCloud gave us an insight into the housing market in the UK how much further we’ve yet to go to reach inspirational cities like Växjö in Sweden which is leading the way for Net Zero cities. We are immensely proud of the remarkable work Friends of the Earth have accomplished and are honoured to partner with such an inspirational organisation and have the opportunity to contribute to such important causes. Starting life with inspiration from world renowned jewellery design and founder, Alex Monroe's sketchbook, birds, bees and branches of blossom have been recreated in collaboration with Turquoise Mountain's Design Team, in mother-of-pearl and tin thread, inlaid into rich walnut wood. Handcrafted by Syrian Master Artisan, Moataz Hamoush, in Jordan, using traditional techniques, these are jewellery boxes designed to be heirlooms, and are truly a celebration of traditional craft.
