    Scaling Your FinTech Sales Team? Avoid This Common Mistake! I remember coaching a COO who was in the thick of scaling their FinTech business. They were hiring rapidly, but the results weren’t showing. In our first conversation, they expressed frustration: “We’ve doubled our team size, but revenue hasn’t increased. What’s going wrong?” After digging a little deeper, I uncovered a key issue: their onboarding process wasn’t aligned with their sales strategy. New hires were struggling because they didn’t fully understand the product value and how to bring it to life for their target audience. Many businesses make a critical mistake here: they believe that simply increasing the number of sales personnel will automatically lead to more sales. The reality is quite different. A salesperson can only be as effective as their understanding of the value of the product they’re selling, their ability to identify and communicate how it meets the needs of the target audience, and the value it delivers.
