  • The HKTDC Export Outlook 2025 revealed that Hong Kong's exports are projected to grow by 4% in 2025. Irina Fan, #HKTDC Director of Research, said, "The increase in #export levels in 2025 is likely to be driven by the electronics sector. Consumer sales are also expected to be bolstered by the launch of a new generation of AI-integrated smartphones, PCs and other digital devices." Although the trend remains positive, the research has also identified potential challenges, including the risk of increased US tariffs that could disrupt global #trade flows. However, exporters continue to express confidence, particularly in the ASEAN and Mainland China markets. The research predicts heightened export activity in the first half of 2025, followed by a slowdown in the latter half, while still maintaining overall growth. Press release: bit.ly/3VAXenl
