🚧 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀! 🤖✨ The CIC organised a visit for specialised plastering practitioners to Guangzhou and Foshan recently, where they engaged with three leading robotic companies: Shanghai Weibuild Technology Co., Ltd., ORCAS Robot Co., Ltd., and Bright Dream Robotics Co., Ltd. 🤝 The delegation witnessed Weibuild’s plastering robot in action at the under-construction Guangzhou Football Park Stadium, a remarkable project spanning 478,000 square meters! 🏟️ They also explored a commercial building site to observe ORCAS's floor grinding robot at work. 🏢🔧 Additionally, the group toured the testing and training facility of Bright Dream Robotics, gaining valuable insights into the capabilities of various plastering-related robots. 📊🤓 This visit fostered productive exchanges between our practitioners and the robotic vendors. While showcasing their technologies, the companies engaged in collaborative dialogue, allowing practitioners to share their experiences and insights. 💬🔄 The adoption of construction robotics in the plastering trade is on the horizon! Construction robots have the potential to significantly enhance productivity and safety in the construction industry. 🚀 However, as robotics is a relatively new frontier, the industry encounters challenges in achieving seamless integration. This requires fine-tuning robotic systems to align with our practices or adapting to new construction methodologies. 🔍🔧 The CIC believes that fostering dialogue between robotic companies and frontline industry stakeholders is crucial for bridging these gaps. 🌉 Together, through co-creation initiatives, we can propel the transformation necessary for the evolution of the construction industry. 🌟 #CIC #ConstructionIndustryCouncil #Construction #Robotics #Innovation #Collaboration
