🎉 Exciting news! We are selected as one of only six projects to get early access to Gefion - one of the largest GPU clusters in the world! This cements our position as a leading AI institution in Denmark and will supercharge our progress towards an AI care companion. What does this mean for the future of healthcare? With access to Gefion's incredible computing power, we're ready to develop the next generation of our AI care companion. We will soon begin the training of TEO-2, a new large video foundation model for healthcare that will fundamentally improve how we deliver and monitor patient care. The launch ceremony today was truly historic, culminating with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark officially booting up the Gefion cluster. This collaboration between NVIDIA, Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI), The Novo Nordisk Foundation, The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), and Teton marks a new chapter in Danish AI innovation. This is more than just a technological advancement – it's a step toward transforming patient care. We're honored to be among the first to work with Gefion and excited to push the boundaries of what's possible in AI-powered healthcare. Artificial intelligence is looking out for Meta, who is at risk of falling: "It's reassuring that it's sitting there looking out for me." 💬 TV 2 Danmark visited our partners from Nordsjællands Hospital to talk with patients and staff who are using Teton. In the interview with Meta Fagerli-Nielsen, a patient at the Department of Neurology, she explains that she feels safe knowing that there is an AI solution looking after her. Over the past few years, she has fallen several times at home and is now being examined at the neurology department to find the cause of these repeated falls. Michael Broksgaard Jensen, Chief Physician at the department, says that it has been a great idea in terms of patient safety, as they have been able to reduce falls at the department. "We have reduced the number of falls by somewhere between 40 to 45 percent. We used to have about nine falls a month. Now we only have four," and he points out that the investment is quickly returned. He goes on to explain, "You have to expect that if people break their hip, they need surgery. They have to go to the orthopedic surgery department. Their hospitalization is prolonged, and their rehabilitation afterwards is extremely expensive."
