PIONEERING RENEWABLE ENERGY: MICHAEL'S JOURNEY TOWARD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE Meet Michael Andersen, Project Engineer at Blue Power Partners 👋🏻 He joined our journey as employee number 38 five years ago, starting as a junior analyst at our headquarters in Aalborg. Since then, he has grown with the company, advancing from a student assistant to his current position as Project Engineer in Buffalo Plains, Canada.. His journey reflects personal achievements and development, transforming his career across borders and being a part of the cultural exchange and dynamic teamwork on a site. For Michael, working on a large-scale infrastructure project is more than just a career milestone – it is a continuous learning journey: “This project provides a valuable opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how decisions made during development influence project execution – insights that can be applied to future efforts. We are proud to announce that the first wind turbines at the Buffalo Plains project in Canada have been energized, marking an important milestone in our commitment to accelerating the green transition. With this achievement, we continue to advance our efforts in promoting environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions, making a positive impact on both the local community and the planet. The key success story of this project is the teamwork, not only between our teams but also between all stakeholders involved. We would like to thank all our stakeholders for our partnership and the excellent collaboration on the Buffalo Plains project. Meet Katelyn, Environmental, Permitting & Land Analyst at Blue Power Partners, where we believe in empowering our people to grow, thrive, and turn aspirations into reality 💡 Starting as an intern, Katelyn has grown into a full-time role within one of our global teams, collaborating with colleagues from all over the world: “My internship was a major learning curve. I had the chance to work on a new project, focusing on permitting processes and environmental aspects. It was much more about analyzing laws and regulations, which pushed me out of my comfort zone. Coming from an engineering background, I was used to working with numbers and structured tasks. This project, however, was more creative and non-quantitative. It was a challenge, but my teammates were incredible. They regularly checked in, offering support and teaching me what I needed to know.
