Last podcast of 2024! It's a goodie 👏
Claudia Macdonald of Mango Communications, Alan McDonald of EMA, and Fred Russo of Botica Butler Raudon Partners joined Heather on our last CRUNCH podcast of the year. This episode, "Navigating the Minefield: Managing Corporate Reputation in a Distrustful Era," is great for directors, executives, and PR leaders to understand the expanded lens we must consider when making business decisions in today's environment. 🔎 Client spotlight! Bovonic 🐄 We love a great Kiwi start-up success story, and Bovonic is a perfect example! Since partnering with them in December 2023, we've worked to raise their profile and build credibility. Founded by Liam Kampshof, Bovonic developed QuadSense – a simple, affordable tech solution that helps dairy farmers detect mastitis early, saving time, money, and stress. With mastitis being one of the costliest diseases in the dairy industry, early detection is crucial. At Mystery Creek Fieldays 2024, Bovonic officially launched QuadSense, coinciding with their second successful capital raise. We secured coverage in rural media and developed a digital ad campaign featuring testimonials from trial farmers. The result? Thousands of website visits and hundreds of online inquiries. 👨🌾 The demand at Fieldays was awesome! As QuadSense gains traction, we’re now working with the Bovonic team to highlight on-farm success stories through a new campaign and supporting their on-farm demo days. We’re thrilled to continue this journey with Bovonic – proving that with the right strategy, amazing results are possible, even on a budget!

On Thursday, HMC celebrated our 20th anniversary! Heather started the business from her second bedroom in the same year that Facebook was launched, Shrek the Sheep was found in the southern highlands and the last episode of Friends aired. Yep, that was awhile ago.... Thank you to all our clients, ex-staff, friends and supporters who joined us to celebrate this milestone event.
