An awesome project to be involved in with The NZ Team, helping out the Tawa Wrestling Club with renovations on their club that we too hope last another 50 years so that they can just focus on training their athletes to their full potential. Thank you to John Wintringham and his team at our Porirua branch who were a part of providing the labour and materials to get this all sorted.

Big thank you to the team at City Kickboxing for donating this awesome collectors item for the Sweet Louise auction that was held at our office last week and to Isaac Tunui for organising it. Thanks to them and our other donors, the auction was able to raise over $14k to support the Wāhine Toa in our country fighting against Breast Cancer. And congratulations to, Thomas, on spending and donating big so that he could be the one to walk away with this prize! Glove signed by: Israel Adesanya, Dan "The Hangman" Hooker, Kai Kara-France, Carlos Ulberg, Kevin Jousset & Navajo Stirling.

Such a good cause bringing the Fletcher Building team together to help raise funds for the Sweet Louise Breast Cancer organisation. Along with the other business units involved, we were super happy to be able to donate a bunch of quick buy goodie bags that flew off the table as well as some big ticket items for the auction, with all proceeds going towards the charity. Couldn’t be prouder of the volunteers from ours and the Mico Plumbing team that helped to organise and run the event. As of writing this post, the event has managed to raise $12,234! To make a donation, head to the link below: https://lnkd.in/gxB_NfuQ

Massive work from the team up in Northland! Donating toys and their time to help with the BALD ANGELS -'all youth deserve to thrive' Christmas toy run. Such a fantastic initiative and an amazing way to finish the year for both the Northland Team and the people they help. Proud of them and the hard mahi everyone involved put into this!

For Tracey Crookston, we've been a place for a career change, growth and development since she joined us over 3 years ago at our New Lynn branch. From Leadership programmes that focus on the personal development of our wahine across the wider Fletcher Building group to career training in skills and abilities that have furthered and assisted her career growth, Tracey has taken a hold of the fantastic opportunities available to her here with us and run with them. We're privileged to be a place that Tracey has been able to bring value to and, more importantly, receive value as a member and leader in our team.

Starting 16 years ago as a part time school worker and working her way through a diverse range of roles and settling currently in the Branch Support team, Nadia Ducrot shares her story of growth and discovery in her career at PlaceMakers. We love hearing how supportive our people are across our different departments and how, during her time, Nadia's leaders have encouraged and backed her decisions to make changes in her career that challenge and strengthen her abilities. So as Nadia says, "Have a go." Find the place that you thrive in and make the most of the opportunities and support around you.

Isabelle Chong has been nothing less than an outstanding addition to team blue as our Sales Enablement Executive. With award wins & nominations and a key role played in developing other employee's talents with the Women in Sales team, Isabelle is a fantastic example of how employees can grow and make their mark in the construction industry with us. Keep an eye out this week as we'll be sharing videos that highlight other team members who have been able to develop and flourish their careers with us and the wider New Zealand Distribution Team at Fletcher Building.
