The UK 🇬🇧 is officially a CPTPP Party! Bringing the first acceding Party into the Agreement is a significant achievement. This milestone strengthens our economic ties and opens up new opportunities for trade, investment, and growth in our region and beyond. Now more than a third of New Zealand’s exports go to CPTPP partners and the Agreement’s high standards will continue to promote rules-based trade and drive economic growth in New Zealand and our region.

From 1-7 December New Zealand hosted a Food Security Mission from Singapore. The delegates travelled New Zealand experiencing the full breadth of our food ecosystem, with a particular focus on how New Zealand can contribute to Singapore’s food security objectives. The delegates’ top takeaways from the week were: - New Zealand has a diverse range of research capabilities, facilitating end-to-end food innovation from fundamental science through to commercialisation. - New Zealand’s long-standing and trusted relationship with Singapore, combined with our high-quality, safe and sustainable food, makes New Zealand an ideal food security partner for Singapore. - The New Zealand agri-food landscape, with its strong Māori economy and close family connections, helps set it apart from the rest of the world.
