Last Friday, we celebrated the launch of the Best Interest Mates Community, a new initiative created to support the men in our Loan Market NZ network. This community offers a space for open conversations about men’s mental health, stepping away from the pressures of work to focus on connection and support. The launch aligned with Movember, with advisers across the country getting involved by growing moustaches or setting fitness goals. The month-long effort culminated in luncheons in Christchurch and Auckland, bringing everyone together to reflect on their achievements. As a group, we’re proud to have raised over $9,000 for men’s mental health causes. We’re especially grateful to our business partners at Prospa for sponsoring our event and to All Blacks player Caleb Clarke for generously donating his European Tour jersey, which raised more than $3,000 at auction.
