  • Leonardo da Vinci once declared, "Simplicity is the highest form of sophistication. " These words hold true, especially when it comes to technology. We often want to marvel at the complexity of new gadgets, new trends, new methods, and bright, glowing screens with paragraphs of detail- seems impressive, right? But what we really desire (and need) is something that is simple and functional, easy to use, easy to understand, and still intriguing. Simplicity in technology is about achieving user adoption of functionality and stress-free navigation with an experience that leaves whoever interacts with the platform feeling confident and relaxed. At CORUM, we always strive to cover all details and options to include an impressive outcome that results in the client's happiness while delivering a simple and easy-to-understand approach because simple things are so much easier, and we need things that are easy to understand when so many things are complicated right now. “Be as simple as you can be; you will be astonished to see how uncomplicated and happy your life can become.”- Paramahansa Yogonanda. How do you embrace simplicity in your everyday life? 🤔 #simplicity #happymonday

  • You want trust between employer and employee and it all starts from communicating healthily with one another, using your words effectively, finding solutions within each other, using each others advantages, and being strong together 😁

A title doesn't make you a leader. How you choose to treat your team does. Your words have power: they can either lift your team up or break them down. Leaders who blame create fear and damage trust. They: ↳ Focus on finding fault, not solutions. ↳ Point fingers when things go wrong. ↳ Shame team members publicly. ↳ Make excuses for poor results. ↳ Avoid taking responsibility. Empowering leaders build trust through support. They: ↳ Create safe spaces to take risks. ↳ Value diverse perspectives. ↳ Encourage innovation. ↳ Show genuine care. ↳ Enable growth. Leadership isn’t about authority; it’s about impact. Choose words that build, not break. Be the leader you wish you had. ♻ Repost to promote healthier leadership. 🔔 Follow Dora Vanourek for more.

  • I am sure you have watched a TedTalks video or attended a TedTalks event- they're so motivating and stimulating. TedTalk presentations are about ideas- not only inspiration. They always leave us feeling appreciative of different perspectives and intellectual approaches. Dr. Joseph recently said at a TedTalks event, "No matter where you are in your journey as a leader, you need to be able to deliver complex ideas into clear messages your audience can easily understand.” Being a great, responsive leader is a way of thinking and communicating, not just a job title- you need to be constantly adapting to your peers and client's needs. We made a quick list of ‘essentials’ we think a good leader should have- Courage and Self-Awareness Patience and Resilience Respect and Sympathy Understanding and Compassion Perception and Gratitude Communication and Responsive Listening Skills Learning Agility and Collaboration Influence and Integrity Good leaders are sculpted by experience and intentional effort. Their progress never stops as they constantly strive to become a better version of themselves; leadership isn’t a final destination. It’s a journey, at the end of the day. Janine Corke is one of our leaders at CORUM who manages staff and client relationships, she also makes herself available to anyone who is looking for support or leadership advice, today we asked her what she thinks is the most rewarding part of being a leader, and also the more challenging, here is what she has to say: "I love making a difference and enjoy the challenges of being a member of the leadership team at CORUM. Being a leader comes with its share of rewards and challenges, and these can be deeply fulfilling as well as difficult to navigate – working together with our incredible team helps. Things I find most rewarding are: watching team members grow, develop, and achieve things they might not have thought possible. building a strong team culture is also very rewarding. We want our team to feel safe, valued, and motivated, and we do this by fostering a culture of collaboration, trust and shared purpose. There are challenges, and the current market contributes to that – dealing with uncertainty and situations that are unpredictable requires quick thinking and resilience. Every member of our team is unique with different strengths, needs, and communication styles – navigating these differences and resolving conflicts while maintaining team harmony is one of my most complex and demanding tasks." #leadership #action #essentialskills
