🙌🏽 AgriSea NZ Seaweed Ltd is now B Corp Certified – A Win for People, Planet, and Farming This milestone recognises AgriSea’s commitment to doing business that’s good for people, the planet, and the farming communities it serves. B Corp certification isn’t handed out lightly—it’s awarded to companies that meet high standards for their social and environmental impact, governance, and community involvement. For #AgriSea, this recognition reaffirms what we’ve always stood for: creating products that work wonders for to improve health of soils, plants, and livestock, while caring for our people, customers, and the environment. Rooted in a deep respect for New Zealand’s natural resources, AgriSea has championed sustainable farming for close to 3 decades. Our products, made from locally and sustainably collected #seaweed, provide natural #biostimulants that farmers trust to enhance their land. Aligning with the principles of the global B Corp movement, AgriSea aims to ensure that success isn’t just about profit but about making a positive impact on everyone involved. Tane Bradley, second generation whānau member and driving force behind the business, shared his excitement: “Becoming B Corp certified isn’t just a badge for us—it’s proof that we’re living our values. This is about making a real difference for future generations, not just for today.” Getting certified took serious effort. The process required AgriSea to undergo a thorough review by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the certification. From how we source raw materials to how we treat and value our employees, every part of the business was assessed to ensure we are operating ethically and sustainably. “This journey holds us accountable and builds trust with our farmers, growers, and community. It shows we’re walking the talk.” By joining the global B Corp movement, AgriSea is now part of a growing network of businesses redefining what success in business looks like. #Bcorpcommunity For our customers—especially farmers and growers—this certification is a clear sign of AgriSea’s dedication to supporting the land and the people who work it. Looking ahead, AgriSea plans to keep pushing boundaries in #regenerative and sustainable farming. Bradley sums it up perfectly: “We’re not just building a business; we’re building a legacy. B Corp certification is a fantastic milestone, but the journey doesn’t stop here. It’s a step toward nurturing a future where farming is good for people and the planet.” B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand

When Matt Rout bought into his farm - he didn't think he would be in Dairy Farming for much longer. Through the Rere ki Uta, Rere ki Tai project funded by Our Land and Water National Science Challenge Matt and other farmers connected to the mana and mauri of soils through accessing different knowledge systems - Matauranga Māori, Science and Farmer practitioner knowledge. The outcomes? Happier, healthier farmers, landscapes, water systems, animals, soils, lower emissions, and hope for the future. "Its made farming fun again" https://lnkd.in/gGVNVSBb
