Scammers often impersonate well-known businesses like banks, government agencies and replicate marketing material to seem legitimate. If you have a conversation with someone and they ask for the following information, please STOP! They could be a scammer: * Your personal information i.e date of birth, TIN number, full name(s) * Asks you to complete a task for them * Requests that you provide them with financial information or transfer money to another account e.g to keep it safe or provide the bank an alternate reason for the purpose of the funds * Suggest that you download software that allows someone to access your laptop or mobile device Report ALL suspicious transactions to Westpac by calling our Customer Care team on 132 032
