💫This December, we proudly marked another milestone in our journey towards improving the lives of children in #Tanzania. Yas handed over 748 mobile devices to support the Birth Registration and Certificate Issuance program. These devices were handed by our CFO Innocent Rwetabura to RITA’s Director of legal rights protection, Francis kugesha. Yas, in partnership with RITA, the Government of Tanzania, UNICEF, and other key stakeholders , in 2013, launched the Birth Registration and Certificate Issuance program for children under five years. This collaboration has already registered over 8 million children under five, ensuring they have access to essential services like education, healthcare, and financial inclusion. A birth certificate is more than just a document—it is a child’s fundamental right and a gateway to their future. We are proud to continue leveraging technology to bridge gaps and create opportunities for the next generation.
