In celebration of #Veganuary, we wanted to highlight the potential of Solein in transforming our food landscape. Solein can adeptly replace animal-based ingredients in a variety of foods, with no compronise on the tastes we are used to. A prime example is our ice cream, where Solein has successfully replaced dairy to create a creamy, irresistible delight. The Solein-powered chocolate ice cream was a hit last summer, receiving rave reviews during its limited availability in Singapore. Reflecting on yet another remarkable year! 🟡 We began 2024 on a strong note when Fazer, the Finnish food experience company, launched their Solein-powered Taste the Future chocolate snack bar, available in Singapore for a limited duration. This was quickly followed by the introduction of two delicious Solein-powered dishes at Chengdu Bowl, a popular restaurant in Singapore. 🌱 With the arrival of spring, we received the Nasdaq Green Equity Designation for private companies, making us the first (then) private Finnish company to achieve this designation. 🏭 Our first commercial-scale production facility, Factory 01, commenced production of Solein® in Vantaa, Finland - a major milestone and highlight of the past year! 🥮 The summer brought more Solein-powered products: The leading Japanese food manufacturer, the Ajinomoto Group, launched Traditional Flowering Mooncakes and Ice Cream Sandwiches. The products got such great feedback that they were brought back in December for another limited-edition availability. 🚀 As autumn approached, we were thrilled to announce our achievement as the Phase III International category winner of the NASA Deep Space Food Challenge. 📈 In September, we took a significant step by listing our shares on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland. 🇺🇸 The year ended on a high note with Solein breaking into an exciting new market - the United States. Let's take a look at our first taste of Solein in the ever-dynamic New York. This is the full menu served at the launch event, every dish powered by Solein: 🟡 The menu, curated by the culinary mastermind Greg Baxtrom of Olmsted restaurant, showcased his interpretation of how Solein can be used. The menu began with Beer-Battered Delicata Solein Squash Rings. Paired with Green Tomato Ketchup and a dash of Fallikake, it was an appetizer to remember. 🟡 The feast continued with Brussels Sprout Solein Spätzle — A distinctive dish that combined Paive Vecchio and a rich Alfredo sauce, embodying both comfort and innovation. 🟡 Then, we were treated to Baxtrom’s signature dish reimagined with Solein, Solein Carrot Crêpe — Elevated with carrot butter, sunflower, and preserved lemon, it brought a burst of brightness and complexity to the palate. 🟡 The grand finale was the Old-School Solein Chocolate Mousse — A classic dessert reimagined and served with poached Italian plums and orange marmalade.
