We are so proud to share that our President & CEO, Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko, has been recognized with the Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland. This decoration is awarded for exceptional merits demonstrated by the person concerned in their professional field or in prominent positions in society. The recognition is officially granted on Finland’s 107th Independence Day, 6 December 2024. “This remarkable honor is a recognition of the long-term excellent work and commitment of all Marimekko employees. Yesterday we attended Finland’s largest investment fair, Sijoittaja 2024, in Helsinki. Our President & CEO Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko had the pleasure of presenting Marimekko’s SCALE strategy and growth drivers at the main stage, and afterwards meet with event participants at the Marimekko-themed lounge.
