🔥 Static Smoke Barriers (SSB): their essential role and applications In an event of fire, smoke barrier screens prevent the spread of fire by containing and channelling the movement of smoke. This allows safeguarding escape routes and facilitates firefighting! 🚒🏃➡️ 🏨 SSB are a major safety measure for a wide range of buildings, including public buildings, offices and shopping malls. 📄 Smoke barriers must comply with EN 12101-1, ensuring they meet specific performance, testing, and compliance standards.
