To commemorate the most pioneering fragrance projects in consumer products for 2024, Givaudan recently gathered to celebrate the second edition of ‘Innovation Day’ from its sites in Argenteuil, Ashford, Baierbrunn, Buenos Aires, Changzhou, Dubai, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Mexico City, Mumbai, Ridgedale, São Paulo, Shanghai, and Singapore. Attendees experienced a selection of fragrances covering all categories, having the chance to taste oral care products as well as fragranced lipsticks, smelling candles and any types of applications from fabric care, home care, personal care and air care. Among the various concepts showcased was Bloomful™ Splash, Givaudan’s latest fragrance innovation designed to enhance olfactory perception of hair and personal wash products, triggering a captivating ‘bloom’ effect during key stages of use. Celebrating boldness and creativity with Fragrance Du Bois latest fragrance ‘Sirène’! Last week, we hosted with Fragrance du Bois an exclusive influencers event at our Parisian Creative Centre, 46 Kléber, to celebrate the launch of ‘Sirène’. Crafted by Givaudan Perfumer Nanako Ogi and evaluated by Brunell Gomes, a key member of our Givaudan team, ‘Sirène’ opens with a seductive burst of cherry and pepper, followed by rich heart notes of oud, incense, and a smooth lactonic undertone. As the fragrance settles, warm base notes of moss, benzoin, cistus, labdanum, and cypriol create a lasting impression of strength and elegance. Based in Argenteuil in France, Consumer Product Perfumer Sophie Veisseire Perrot’s expertise spans Fabric Care as well as Personal Care. Having attended Givaudan’s Perfumery School in her hometown of Grasse and studying chemistry in Nice, Sophie now relishes the opportunity to work on international projects. This allows her to travel while conducting home visits across Latin America and Asia to observe and listen to consumers discussing their lifestyles, cultures, and habits, often witnessing the real-life impact of smelling clean.
