I am truly honored and humbled to receive this Golden Award award for THE BEST PERFUMER OF THE YEAR. It’s a tremendous recognition in the career of any perfumer, and I am deeply grateful for this acknowledgment of my work. This award gives me a moment to reflect not just on the journey of myself as a Master perfumer but on the journey of all young perfumers around the world, and especially those in China. I know how challenging this path can be. perfumery is a profession that demands immense dedication, patience, and resilience. To every young Chinese perfumer out there, I encourage you to keep pushing forward. The road may be difficult, but the rewards are extraordinary. There’s nothing quite like walking through the streets and catching the scent of your creation, knowing that it has become part of people’s daily lives. I recall a particularly touching moment when someone reached out to me on social media, in the midst of war, saying she didn’t know if she would survive the next day. But before anything happened, she wanted to thank me for the magic that my perfume brought into her life. I was deeply moved by her words, as it reminded me of the profound emotional connection that fragrance can create. This award yesterday night is also the recognition of luxury perfume as a beautiful art form. So, I want to thank everyone who voted for me and Ella K at the @goa_goldenosmanthusawards . Your support means the world to me, and I will continue to create perfumes that tell stories, evoke emotions, and inspire beauty. A special thanks to @givaudanperfume and what a beautiful sign it happens the same day of the opening of the Shanghai Givaudan appartement ! Thank you once again for this incredible honor!
