There’s no one-size-fits-all guide to leadership. Sure, there are countless theories, but real leadership is deeply personal — it’s about bringing your unique personality and values into the role. Leadership styles vary widely, and I personally lean toward building a close camaraderie with my team. Of course, I know we’re all ultimately dispensable, including me. But I aim to create an environment of trust, where everyone feels valued and essential to our journey. Psychology Blossom

Yesterday concludes my last day of internship at Psychology Blossom! Beyond the countless things I've learned, the most rewarding aspect of this experience has been the people I've met and interacted with daily. From engaging with clients during mindfulness sessions to sharing greetings at the front desk, and connecting with supportive therapists, psychologists, and the administrative team, I am grateful that these interactions have truly affirmed my decision to pursue a career in clinical psychology. One highlight was participating in supervision sessions, which proved to be invaluable. Engaging with experienced professionals allowed me to see the concepts I learned in class put into practice (which was very cool), receive constructive feedback, and deepen my understanding in a supportive environment. It was truly inspiring to witness everyone's commitment to continuous learning—a value I hold close. In class, we learn what goes on behind therapy doors, but they don't teach you how to run a clinic. By learning with my team how to problem-solve when complex challenges arise, I have a newfound appreciation for the management and administrative aspects of healthcare institutions in general. If fate permits, I may hopefully return many years down the line for a placement or associate role. Regardless, I hope to stay in touch will all of you 🫡
