In the fourth edition of PROPELLERS, meet Brenda Heng, Senior Vice President of Operations, the powerhouse ensuring everything runs smoothly at #PROPEL.   Brenda's journey is a testament to resilience and passion. Starting her career as a bank teller, she climbed the ranks with hard work and dedication, honing her skills in managing large teams and streamlining complex processes along the way.   Her leadership style is rooted in empathy and understanding, always putting herself in others' shoes to tackle challenges effectively. This is also reflected in her service philosophy: “I try to put myself in the shoes of others, consider their pain points and see how we can better tackle these issues.”   Brenda has been instrumental in streamlining processes and improving efficiency, all while fostering a culture of collaboration and support. Her commitment to creating a family-like atmosphere is evident in her role as the company’s culture champion, actively seeking out ways to nurture the team and bring culture to life.   But togetherness is not just a theme for Brenda, whose work ethic is characterised by her hands-on approach. She believes in working alongside her team, whether it's checking forms late into the night or even helping with account openings. “Regardless of my position, I want to be there for my team, especially when times are tough”.   Outside of work, Brenda is a culinary enthusiast who finds joy in cooking for her family. Her signature seafood bucket is a hit among friends, and she sees cooking as a way to unwind and recharge.
