The spirit of giving shines through in Mapletree!   This holiday season, we hosted a special gift-handing ceremony for the young beneficiaries of Boys’ Town, Beyond Social Services and CatchPlus, with Mr Wu Long Peng, Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee, MPACTM. Thanks to the generosity of our participating tenants—Concentrix, Forescout Technologies Inc., and Pfizer (represented by Ms Geraldine Quek)— as well as the incredible support from our Mapletree staff, we surpassed our initial goal of 50 gifts and delivered a total of 195 gifts! What an exciting day it has been for student entrepreneurs at the Mapletree-Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry River Hongbao Hackathon 2025 (RHBHacks 2025)! 💪   Held yesterday at Mapletree Business City, the seventh edition of our student entrepreneurship competition saw ten finalist teams pitching their innovative ideas to an esteemed panel of judges. It was heartening to witness four finalist teams emerge as winners with their sound business ideas. They are: 1. “Impact Collider” from Singapore Management University / National University of Singapore/ Nanyang Technological University / Ngee Ann Polytechnic; 2. “Memory Mates” from Singapore Polytechnic; 3. “RTE Technologies” from Singapore Polytechnic; and 4. “SUSFeed” from Republic Polytechnic. Each team will receive S$5,000 in seed money, S$2,000 in prize money and will be setting up a booth at the upcoming River Hongbao 2025, where they will showcase and sell their products to the public. Congratulations! 👏   We also awarded S$500 each to “Algy” from Singapore Polytechnic for the Most Innovative Award and “Clara Nature Spice Art” from Singapore University of Social Sciences for the Best Pitch Award. We are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of a 22.5-acre shovel ready site directly off Exit 5 along Burlington-Mount Holly Road in Westampton Township, New Jersey, United States (US), with plans to develop it into a state-of-the art, 250,000 square feet (sq ft) logistics facility. Mr Richard Prokup, Chief Executive Officer, US, Mapletree, said: “This acquisition highlights our ongoing commitment to expanding our footprint in the US, which remains Mapletree’s largest market globally. Colleagues from various departments in Singapore gathered for an exciting afternoon of eight-ball pool and darts! Organised by staff members of Mapletree Recreation Club, more than 40 colleagues joined in for a time of inter-team bonding and friendly competition, with winners walking home with vouchers! “We had alot of fun, thanks to our organisers! Huge thanks to Ocarina House and The Acapella Society (Children's Pop Choir) for putting up an incredible Christmas lunchtime performance at Alexandra Retail Centre! Not only did we enjoy beautiful music, but some lucky audience members also got to learn how to play the ocarina and bring them home as souvenirs! As the year draws to a close, our colleagues in Japan, Malaysia and the Netherlands pitted their bowling skills within their respective teams! Seasoned bowlers and enthusiastic beginners alike came together to demonstrate their skills and learnt new techniques from one another. Bowling was a popular activity as it allowed a mix of colleagues with different skill levels to work as a team to achieve the highest scores.   "The bowling activity was a good opportunity to unwind and bond with my colleagues in a fun and relaxed setting.
