#DiabetesAwarenessMonth The best injectable is undetectable! 💉 If your cat receives daily injectable medication to manage their diabetes it can be a little bit worrying as a caregiver, but our Cat Welfare Assistant, Laura Watson, and her cat Meme are here to inject you with some confidence! 😺    A great tip is to inject your cat in a place they feel safe and settled, such as a comfortable blanket placed beside you on the sofa or on your lap. The blanket will provide a comfortable, warm surface for them to settle on, and a protective layer on your lap in case they scratch. 🐾     Pair that with some yummy treats to distract them from the injection and provide positive reinforcement, so their daily injectable medication can become an interaction they look forward to rather than dread!     🩺 Don’t forget to reach out to your veterinary clinic for help!
