🤟 Sign SgSL Sunday 🤟 Hello Hushers! Welcome to another edition of our Sign SgSL Sunday, where we explore the beautiful world of Singapore Sign Language (SgSL). Today, we're going to learn how to sign a very important word and phrase - "Happy" and "Happy Birthday to You!" 🎂 1️⃣ Happy: Start by placing your open hand on your chest. Then, move it up and away from your body, flipping it so the palm faces upward. It's like you're spreading joy from inside you to the world around you! 2️⃣ Happy Birthday to You: Now, let's put it all together for a birthday wish! After signing "happy", for "birthday," mimic candles on a cake with each hand moving left and right in front of your mouth. For "to you," just point towards the person you're wishing. So the next time you want to wish someone a happy birthday, why not do it in SgSL? It's a unique and meaningful way to celebrate their special day. Remember, learning SgSL is not just about communication, it's also about promoting inclusivity and understanding in our community. Check out our upcoming Hush Experience sessions at hush.peatix.com or email us at hush@hushteabar.com to learn more about our movement. Let's spread happiness, one sign at a time! #HushTeaBar #HushExperience #SignSgSLSunday #Inclusion #Community #SgSL
