🌟 We learned that DJI, the well-known Ready-to-Fly Consumer Drone company, had its beginnings at HKSTP in Hong Kong. Last week, Aecis had the privilege of joining Global Young Leaders Network (GYLN) trip in Hong Kong. This amazing opportunity, sponsored by The University of Hong Kong in Vietnam, allowed us to expand our horizons and make valuable connections. ⛓ The trip took place from September 22nd to 26th. We visited The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. At HKUST, we met with university leadership and toured the campus facilities. At HKSTP, we learned about Hong Kong's thriving innovation ecosystem and explored their incubation facilities. A highlight of the trip was visiting the headquarters of Sunwah Group, the parent company of Sunwah Innovation, which founded the GYLN 10 years ago. We gained insight into Sunwah's global business operations and vision for the future. The trip culminated with a gala dinner on September 25th celebrating the 10th anniversary of the GYLN network. It was an honor to help commemorate this milestone! 🔎 Participating in the Sunwah-GYLN trip allowed Aecis to expand our professional network and learn from top universities and companies in Hong Kong. We made connections that will benefit our organization for years to come. The entire experience was inspiring and motivating.
