The EU solar sector issues a yellow card as sector growth slows dramatically.🟨 After several years of record-breaking market growth, the latest edition of our EU Market Outlook for Solar Power reveals a 92% decline. 📉 While the EU installed 66 GW of solar in 2024, this merely inches past 2023’s record of 63 GW, at a time when we cannot afford to slow down. “Europe needs to be installing around 70 GW solar PV annually to hit its 2030 targets – we need to consider corrective action now, before it’s too late,” says Walburga Hemetsberger, CEO SolarPower Europe.
