Start Here" is a day of activities to get you from 0 to 1 in Web3. A hands-on approach for local people to learn about Ethereum, the importance of decentralization, and more. If you're living in Bangkok apply to join as an Explorer or if you're visiting and are a web3 OG, apply as a Mentor. By attending you'll get your first web3 wallet, send your first transactions, create and claim your first POAPs and NFT, meet contributors of the public good projects, get connected to local Bangkok and international web3 communities - all in one go. This experience is a way to provide value to locals communities by meeting them where they are at, and inviting them to be part of the new internet. Honored to host this first edition with Caolán W., Corinna Schlicht, and Guilherme Maueler. Humans, technology, nature, and kindness - the key ingredients to move towards a new way of life. Amidst the chaos of EthCC in Brussels early July, the Regen Village by Regens Unite became a haven of deep discussion and experimentation for builders, funders & creators. ✅ 600+ attendees ✅ 7823 $RegenBxl issued ✅ 1 beautiful party Thank you to everyone who participated in creating lasting local impact! 600+ attendees came through the Regen Village throughout this 5-day event, using the coworking space as a hub to connect, work, and decompress between events or heading upstairs to the main stage floor to participate in a panel. Attendees could earn tokens for positive action and spend it on custom swag, ice cream, waffles or a gift for someone they love. 7823 $RegenBxl were issued over the week across 600+ NFC wristbands. 🎉 And the after party was one for the books! Thank you to Let's Grow DAO for organizing an amazing Regenaissance party, curated with love at the renowned C12 club in the heart of Brussels. Thank you to the Blockravers and local DJs who brought us incredible beats on the dance floor to wrap up a week of hard work. A 5-day event is the biggest thing we’ve ever done. Are we insane? Maybe. But we’re so excited to see this create lasting impact! We all realize the importance and impact that technology can provide in global sustainability goals. Last Saturday at Rio Onchain Week and ETHSamba, we had a fantastic Regen Meetup at the Fabulosa Lab, nestled in the heart of Rio. The event was a vibrant gathering of individuals passionate about regeneration, sparking engaging and insightful discussions. We started with warm welcomes and introductions, then jumped into planning our session using Open Space technology. The room was alive with members from diverse backgrounds, all exchanging ideas on how to grow the regenerative movement and support those already on this journey. It's a path filled with dedication and sometimes sacrifice, but the sense of community is strong. We delved into fundraising mechanisms for regenerative projects, sharing successes and lessons learned, aiming to refine our strategies together. Our conversations also ventured into aligning our actions with nature’s cycles, touching on topics like agroforestry, carbon credits, waste management, and environmental preservation. What truly stood out was the genuine connection we shared. Despite our different paths, we laughed, shared stories, and felt united in our common goal. It was an inspiring meetup, and we're excited for the next chapter of regen gatherings in Rio. 🌱✨ Special thanks to Luisa Fosco for opening up the space, physically and metaphorically - for these conversations to take place.
