Un articolo ora online sul nostro sito, basato su una comunicazione ufficiale dell’associazione europea di cui siamo membri, evidenzia come l’introduzione di questi dazi avrebbe gravi conseguenze per il settore, con un aumento dei costi di produzione anche per le aziende italiane e una perdita di competitività a livello globale. 🚨 La #Commissioneuropéenne en voulant imposer des #droitsantidumping sur le #dioxydedetitane (Tio2), met en péril une part importante de la filière de la #chimie de formulation. Depuis de nombreuses semaines, CEPE (Conseil Européen de l'Industrie des Peintures, des Encres et des Couleurs), la Fipec et d’autres fédérations de producteurs au sein des états membres redoublent de pédagogie pour souligner le caractère insolite et contre-intuitif d’une mesure censée protéger l’#industrieeuropéenne. La France, en effet, promeut habituellement les droits #antidumping, considérant leur efficacité. 📢 Ici, la situation est inverse :     🔺 La production européenne de TiO2 pâtit d’un manque d’investissements dans ses infrastructures industrielles et ne peut aujourd’hui couvrir la demande de nos producteurs, obligés de se tourner vers les importations chinoises. 🔺 La plainte à l’origine de l’enquête de la Commission a été déposée par un consortium aux capitaux essentiellement… américains. L’industrie européenne se retrouvant ainsi victime d’un conflit géopolitique qui la dépasse.    🔺 Ingrédient essentiel pour la formulation des peintures et des encres (chacune utilisent respectivement 60% et 5% de la production mondiale), le #TiO2 représente jusqu'à 40% des coûts en matières premières.
