🐼🐼🐼 Tian Bao, Bao Di and Bao Mei have flown back from Pairi Daiza to Chengdu as part of an important wildlife conservation programme! 🌍💚 These three special passengers received personalised attention throughout their journey - from their territory at Pairi Daiza to our Animal Care & Inspection Centre (ACIC), all the way aboard the Sichuan flight. This incredible mission was made possible through seamless #teamwork with our airport partners as well as Chinese and Belgian veterinarians and caretakers. Our common goal? Working together to ensure the pandas' comfort and care every step of the way. We’re thrilled to open a new chapter in our collaboration with Safran, with the signing of an agreement to expand Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels. This project underscores Brussels Airport’s role as a trusted partner, delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and tailored services for our logistics community. 🤝 Building on the success of the LEAP engine maintenance workplace, inaugurated in June, this agreement paves the way for the construction of a brand-new 11,000 m² industrial building dedicated to module maintenance. With an opening planned mid-2027, this Module Factory will not only feature cutting-edge and sustainable facilities but also drive local job creation, with a recruitment plan for 220 new employees - bringing the site’s total workforce to 570 upon launch. With this new development, we are addressing the industry’s growing demands while fostering economic growth locally and globally. 🌍✈ More info: https://lnkd.in/gvXm89s8

The expertise and operational excellence of our Airport Operations Centre (APOC) are gaining well-deserved recognition! Airport Intelligence, a subsidiary of Brussels Airport, has already played a crucial role in scoping the APOC for more than 10 European airports to optimise passenger experience and enhance efficiency. Their recent contribution to the "APOC Guidebook," co-written with ACI EUROPE, further showcases their expertise by offering valuable insights into creating a successful #APOC. Take a moment to explore it - it’s well worth your time! ✈️ https://lnkd.in/e5EPZHPq #wearebrusselsairport #airportoperations #PassengerExperience

What happens when Brussels Airlines and #brusselsairport trainees come together? A day of new connections, learning from each other, sharing a passion for aviation and discovering more about the industry. ✈❤ They also visited each other’s workplace, took a tour of the tarmac, visited the #cargo area and the fire department, and learned all about winter operations. This was more than a fun day out, it was about bringing people together to strengthen relationships and shape the future of our airport, side by side. #wearebrusselsairport
