📣 We’re delighted to announce that Melissa Lucashenko has been awarded the 2024 Mark and Evette Moran Nib Literary Award for her novel Edenglassie (Published by UQP). Described as ‘a brilliant novel’ with prose that ‘sparks with electricity and the characters linger long in the reader’s mind’ 📚 Lucashenko’s novel came out on top of the 175 nominations received. Lucashenko was at Bondi Pavilion last night to accept the Award from Principal Sponsors Mark and Evette Moran. Deborah Conway was announced as the Nib People’s Choice Prize winner for her work Book of Life (published by Allen & Unwin). It's about to get easier to repair, reuse and recycle in Bondi Junction ♻️ Our new campaign 'In the Loop' is all about making it easier for you to make your well-loved items last longer, so that we can reduce waste in Waverley. Over the next 12 months, we'll be working with businesses in Bondi Junction to make it easier for you to reuse, repair, repurpose, rehome, and make your materials last longer. In the new year, we’ll be sharing a directory of locations around the Junction where you can sustainably dispose of your pre-loved items 📍 Until then, we'll be sharing tips for how to have a low-waste holiday season 🎄🕯️ kicking off next week.
