  • We’ve now landed back in Australia after a highly successful 5 week trip around the world. What this trip has proven to me is that nothing compares to the ‘boots on the ground’ knowledge you gather when you travel to your work destinations. Compare this to the constraints of ‘online’ work whether it be emails, web searches, Teams/Zoom meetings etc, you can only gather so much information and perspective in this manner. It obviously has its place and is a valuable tool in business today, but nothing replaces shaking someone’s hand and chatting with them, whether it is a factory contact, distributor, end user or even just a local that has nothing to do with your work, the value in that personal interaction can never be replaced. The feedback and response that we received on the product has been incredible during this soft launch process. Now that we’re home, the work continues leading up to our product launch, we are excited to release this revolutionary product to the market.

  • After the first week in the USA we have confirmed our pre-travel market research, this country will be our biggest market by far. The sheer scale of the transport industry here is phenomenal however there are still challenges to market entry that we will need to overcome. It helps that we’ve both spent extensive amounts of time here over the years which has provided us with great insight into the culture and general workings of the country. We had highly productive meetings in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. We’re now working our way through Texas this week then heading to California before catching the long flight home. Excited to hit the Australia and New Zealand markets and get our products into our home market.

  • After leaving Europe for the USA and arriving at JFK Airport New York 🗽last night, it was a good time to reflect on all that’s been achieved over the first half of our travels. ✈️ ✅Productive Factory Meetings to discuss production of current and future products. Networking with other local factory leaders and making new connections 🏭 💼 ✅Catching up with our local URS Team during the factory meeting process and getting their feedback on our progress and trajectory 👂🏻💪🏻 ✅Connecting with Contractors and End Users to discuss product performance, key features and benefits, local industry requirements and market feedback 🚛 🚛 ✅Engaging with new potential Distributors across Europe ensuring we have a strong geographical presence across key markets and that their market strategy, and company values and ethics align with ours 🏢☎️📦 ✅Enjoyed seeing the incredible IAA Transportation Expo in Hannover Germany 🇩🇪 and viewing all of the innovative products that are being implemented into the Transport Industry ✅And finally, we’ve had fun and enjoyed some downtime seeing the local sights and sounds, and a few sneaky beverages. 🍻🍻who says you can’t mix work and play and be successful at the same time 👍🏻 We’ve now landed in the USA🇺🇸 potentially our biggest market and have a world wind schedule planned.

  • Universal Restraint Systems is attending this years IAA Transportation Expo in Hannover Germany on the 17th & 18th of September 2024. Looking forward to viewing all of the incredible exhibits and connecting with visitors from around the world. Feel free to introduce yourself when you see us during the expo.
