About us
Tour de Cure raises vital funds to support the researchers, surgeons and clinicians who dedicate their lives to finding a cure for cancer. Through our magical, challenging and inspirational events we raise money to fund the boldest research, the most talented scientists and the ground-breaking projects that we believe will have the biggest impact on cancer. From humble beginnings in 2007, the Tour de Cure community has grown to become a national movement of thousands of people, walking, running, riding and swimming to raise awareness and inspire support in the fight to cure cancer.

Celebrating Chris Kearney: Our September Volunteer of the Month! We're delighted to honour Chris as he embodies the TDC values of Growing and Achieving. CK as he is lovingly known, was the ride lead for Can4Cancer this year and his efforts were instrumental in executing the biggest ride cohort and number of pelotons (6!) to date. As the ride lead, the role is demanding and there is plenty of agility and adapting required. CK successfully implemented evolving the training program to make it more accessible. In addition, CK introduced Sunday express rides and was pivotal in helping grow our community and engaging riders. Thank you CK, for your dedication, expertise and for helping us achieve our goals! #VolunteerOfTheMonth #Growing #Achieving #TourDeCure

We are truly grateful to our partners at Lexus Australia for their ongoing support since 2007. The intelligence, intuition and reliability of the Lexus fleet of vehicles, aids the safety of our riders and success of our tours and events. Thank you Lexus Australia!
Last month Tour de Cure Australia wrapped up their Victorian Discovery Tour, raising over $422,000 – and counting – for cancer research. Lexus Australia proudly supports Tour De Cure, providing a fleet of Lexus vehicles, which act as support cars, ensuring the safety of riders. Celebrating Geoff Le Messurier: Our August Volunteer of the Month! We're thrilled to honour "French Geoff" who embodies our TDC values; Caring, Achieving and Nurturing. Geoff became an icon on the recent Walking Tour of Brisbane. Not only did he transport the event equipment from Sydney to Brisbane (plus assisted executing the events), he continued the drive back to Sydney, returning via Hunter Valley to deliver further equipment for the Suncorp Ride. Covering close to 2,000km on his own then helping execute four events in three days before joining the tour, was a mammoth effort. Furthermore, every day Geoff showed up with a big smile while helping other volunteers and looking after our team in a busy time. Thank you Geoff! #VolunteerOfTheMonth #Achieving #Caring #Nurturing #TourDeCure

💫 Magic Day, the annual day to conclude the annual grants round, where researchers who have applied, are contacted to learn the outcome and where we commit to fund research, support and prevention projects across Australia. We have team members from our partners join us at the TdC Headquarters, along with staff, volunteers and participants where we all call grant recipients to tell them the good news. To make the calls and hear the absolute joy and gratitude is truly magical, where Magic Day is derived. Watch as we share the magic and how the vital funds raised by Tour de Cure aid research to change lives like that of Mark, Laura and Carys. We thank you for being so generous with your time and sharing your story. 💛 #CuringCancer #ChangingLives #TourDeCure #MagicDay
