📣INTRODUCING FUNDRAISER SPOTLIGHT📣
📅 Every month The Kids’ Cancer Project is going to shine a light on some of our fundraisers who are doing their bit for our dream of no child dying from cancer.
✨ They are the people that are out in the community, challenging themselves, hosting events, and getting creative in order to raise funds for vital kids’ cancer research!
👋 Introducing our inaugural fundraising champion, Kyle Swain, and his #FindaCure Bunchies!
Kyle and his mates held THREE events in September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It included a bike ride from Brisbane to Byron Bay, a Bunnings BBQ, and an ‘Everest’ Challenge, undertaken by Ady Owen, in which he cycled the Gateway Bridge repeatedly to climb 8,848m in a single ride.
The three events saw the guys raise an INCREDIBLE $8,328 for childhood cancer research!🔬
🤝 Without the support of our wonderful community fundraisers, we would not be able to alter the lives of kids with cancer. We’re immensely thankful for people like Kyle, Ady and their mates who are allowing us to fund vital research.
