Progress is in full swing at the Chatswood Golf Club, with key design elements coming together beautifully. A standout feature is the stunning sandstone wall along the central staircase, made from Gosford Quarries Sandstone . This wall cohesively unifies the interior space with the exterior, where the sandstone wraps around the building’s façade. It’s exciting to see the illuminated skylight installed, bringing natural light into the space. The pool area is looking amazing, with bespoke Balistone mosaic tiles being laid. We’re looking forward to seeing the continued progress of this exciting project. Last Friday, Team2 Architects had the privilege of joining over 1,000 industry leaders at the PCA 2024 Melbourne Annual Christmas Lunch. Team2 Architects and Team2 Interiors were engaged by the Mona Vale Golf Club to undertake the interior design and delivery aspects of the Clubs refurbishment works. Maximising the club's stunning seaside location was at the forefront of Team2’s design. A large outdoor seating area was designed to capture fantastic views over the course and coastline whilst integrating seamlessly with the existing course and structure. Work also involved an interim plan, minimising interruption to members during construction which included temporary facilities for the kitchen, amenities and offices. Inspired by the glow of the sunrise falling on the club’s natural surroundings - the sea, the sand and the terrain; this scheme aims to create a light and earthy palette, with elements of subtle texture. Hints of MVGC’s navy blue are introduced through the feature carpets, providing complimentary depth throughout the scheme. Creating a luxurious member experience is at the forefront of our design. Through the use of high-quality finishes, we have created an inviting space for MVGC members to unwind and recoup after a long day on the course. The Interior finishes were selected to connect to the sand and the ocean adjacent the venue. Textures were introduced to add depth to the interiors, with brass features, timber, luxurious carpets, organic shaped crazy pave tiles and calming colours create a quiet luxury. Team2 is thrilled to witness the remarkable transformation of the Cooks Hill Hotel Cabramatta following its extensive internal renovations and external refresh. What was once a tired looking Hotel has been completely reimagined into a stunning new venue. Team2 Architects and Interiors were tasked with designing and documenting these renovations, which encompassed a complete overhaul of the Bistro Restaurant, kitchen, Sports Bar, Dining area, TAB with smoking terrace, and a Gaming area featuring a dedicated VIP entrance. The design draws inspiration from the local clientele, showcased through carefully selected materials, decals, and branding. The façade now boasts a contemporary colour palette that harmonises beautifully with the refreshed interior layout and design. The Club continues to offer exceptional value meals, fostering a lively atmosphere that benefits the local community and surrounding area.
