Earlier this week, the crew from KFTA, Darwin gathered for a toolbox meeting to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Cyclone Tracy. Cyclone Tracy hit Darwin in the early hours of Christmas Day 1974, killing 66 people and devastating 80 per cent of the city. The total damage bill topped $800 million. Yesterday we held our second annual family fun day, and it was a resounding success! The North Queensland sun shone brightly, albeit - perhaps a little too much! There were games and activities for everyone: a bouncy castle and train rides for the little ones, a friendly boxing competition that brought out the playful rivalry in the adults, and a petting zoo filled with baby animals for everyone to cuddle.
