QIPs NSW have been deeply saddened by the news of the passing of our dear friend, long-time supporter and community member, Jonathan Bryant. Jonathan was dedicated to ensuring heritage remained an integral part of a property and its architecture. As the Director of Heritage at Urbis, he shaped and preserved some of Australia’s most iconic places, celebrating the human creativity of our built history. We were fortunate to collaborate with Jonathan on his unicorn project, Qtopia Sydney, which will be a longstanding legacy for generations to come, and through many of our events and ideas that were sparked at Urbis. He was passionate about furthering LGBTQIA+ visibility, inclusivity and support for queer professionals both at Urbis and across the wider industry. For that, and his strong support for QIP we will be eternally grateful. We send our thoughts to everyone at Urbis, his partner, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
