The City of Sydney has provided heavily subsidised rent to Haven House South Dowling to the value of $5.9 million. “In order to bring this housing project to fruition, we provided the Property Industry Foundation with a heavily discounted 50-year lease on the land worth approximately $5.9 million. 💪 Transforming Lives Through Year-End Working Bees! 🌱🏠 From garden clean-ups 🌿 to painting rooms 🎨 and setting up living spaces 🛋️, our amazing NSW supporters have made a gigantic difference for our Charity Partners and the homeless and at-risk young people they serve. 🛠️ MPA revitalised the garden and outdoor spaces at Haven House Dulwich Hill for Stepping Stone House. 🌟 The GPT Group revamped housing in Erskenville for Youth Off The Streets, marking 20 years of partnership with the Foundation. 👩🔧 Brookfield & NAWIC NSW - National Association of Women in Construction joined forces to overhaul Haven House Inner West for Detour House Inc & The Girls Refuge, creating a warm, supportive space for young women in crisis. 🌻 Goodman transformed the gardens at Haven House Dulwich Hill, bringing it to life for the warmer months. 🎁 Colliers reimagined spaces for Oasis Youth Services, transforming the garage and donations room, and revitalised the courtyard. They also donated over $1,000 in gift cards to spread holiday cheer. 🎨 Plenary Group, Pariter, & Charter Hall lent their hands to painting and renovating Haven House Sylvania for Caretakers Cottage Inc.. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart that went into these projects. 💖 Together, we’re not just transforming spaces. 🌟 Shoutout to Team Charter Hall! 🌟 Yesterday, Team Charter Hall took on a mammoth working bee at Haven House Sylvania, rolling up their sleeves to paint and set up furniture for the bedrooms and a brand-new full bathroom as part of Phase 1 of the revitalisation project. 🏠🎨 This incredible effort is helping transform Caretakers Cottage Inc., a medium-term residence that provides a safe haven for young people in out-of-home care, aged 12 to 17 years old. 💙 👏 Thank you, Team Charter Hall, for your hard work and dedication to making a difference for vulnerable youth.
