Did you know that roughly 1,500 volts of electricity run through the overhead wires that power your train ride? Sometimes we have to turn the power off to safely complete network upgrades, and that's why passengers on the Sandringham line are travelling by bus this week (until 16 December). Metro thanks passengers for their patience, and teams for their hard work.

Making spirits bright 🌟 in partnership with Kinaway-The Victorian Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce, Metro Trains held a First Nations Christmas market today at our Collins Street offices. Stall holders had everything from pyjamas to coffee on offer, giving people the opportunity to fill their Christmas stockings with treats from First Nations businesses. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped support Metro’s commitment to reconciliation and self-determination.
