Who doesn't love a charity golf day?! Our Western Australia team were proud to sponsor the Saba Rose Button Foundation Annual Charity Golf Day last week. The Saba Rose Button Foundation is a not-for-profit charity that raises funds to help children with additional needs and their families. The funds raised enable West Australian children to access needed therapy, specialised equipment, and parental respite and care in their homes. Rodney Swarts and Tristan van der Linde had a pretty good day on the green, finishing the round at 9 under par. We're proud to host Brisbane's property event of the year and it was clear our South East Queensland Property Overview Breakfast was an absolute hit again for 2024! Over 510 guests plus 40 Herron Todd White staff converged on Sofitel Brisbane Central for our annual breakfast event this morning. We were joined by keynote speaker, Jonathan Kearns, Chief Economist and Head of Regulatory Affairs at Challenger Limited, who provided the audience with an in-depth economic outlook, touching on the labour market, inflation and housing markets around the country. Our own Herron Todd White experts Alistair Weir and Gavin Hulcombe reflected on the past year of sales and trends in South East Queensland in the commercial and residential real estate markets. While we know the success of this event is reflected in a huge crowd each year (and for the last 35 years!), it was great to hear from departing guests that they put a reminder in their calendar months in advance, crowning it "THE property overview of the year"! This event would not have been possible without Catherine Wilson. Last week in Sydney, we came together for a few inspiring days filled with connection and celebration at our annual Women in Leadership Dinner, Senior Leaders Conference, and Shine Awards! We kicked off with our Women in Leadership Dinner on Wednesday night, where the Chair of the Herron Todd White Board, Sheena Wilson inspired us with a keynote on making inclusion a purposeful, everyday commitment. Her insights, followed by an engaging panel, left everyone feeling uplifted and ready to champion positive change. The next day, our Senior Leaders Conference brought together leaders from across the country and emerging talents eager to make an impact. The room was filled with energy, fresh perspectives, and ideas as we explored our vision for the future and the steps to bring it to life. And finally, our Shine Awards honoured the exceptional contributions of our people.
