Congratulations to Jemma August on her 10 year milestone anniversary! Jemma's journey with EBM commenced when she joined the Kalgoorlie office as an Assistant Account Manager, bringing solid communication and administration skills attained from her prior experience as an Electorate Officer in conjunction with her studies towards a Bachelor of Communication majoring in public relations. Jemma’s team members describe her as a knowledgeable and meticulous broker who expertly handles client insurance programs with care and confidence. Her ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, coupled with her kind and helpful nature, makes her an invaluable asset to the team. In 2015, Jemma completed her Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualification and successfully transitioned into a Trainee Account Manager role. She was swiftly elevated to an Account Manager in 2016 following attainment of her Tier 1 qualification, demonstrating her technical aptitude and commitment to learning and professional progression. Jemma relocated to Sydney, NSW in 2017 where she completed her Diploma of Insurance Broking and joined the corporate team where she further refined her broking expertise and knowledge. She relocated to the EBM Perth office in 2020 and continued to deliver exceptional support and expertise to clients. More recently, Jemma’s journey came full circle as she re-joined the Kalgoorlie office, continuing her diligent and dedicated service.  Congratulations Jemma and thank you for all you do!

As part of our community volunteer day initiative our Marketing & Communications team spent the morning at Give Write, a Perth based not-for-profit enterprise that accepts donations of new and pre-loved school stationery to recycle, repackage and regift to Western Australian kids in need. As well as helping local families, the program is also aimed at promoting recycling to reduce local landfill. Many thanks to the team at Give Write WA for sharing your story and letting us lend a hand!

Please join me in congratulating Brooke McLaren on reaching the remarkable milestone of 15 years with EBM. Brooke joined EBM in 2008, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in the insurance industry. Over the past decade and a half, Brooke has held a series of pivotal roles, each demonstrating her technical broking skills and unwavering dedication. Whether managing day-to-day operations or ensuring the smooth running of the Gold Coast office, Brooke is described by her team as always going above and beyond, maintaining a positive attitude and is appreciated for her willingness to offer guidance with a genuine smile. Thank you for being such an amazing team member and for all you do, Brooke!

Congratulation to Miguel Barrigos for reaching his 5 year anniversary with EBM. Miguel joined our Melbourne team in October 2019 as an Account Manager, bringing with him over a decade of insurance expertise gained from prior key roles held within the industry. Miguel's expertise in managing commercial and corporate accounts has been invaluable. His comprehensive knowledge across all insurance classes, coupled with his background in claims have contributed to the team success over the past five years. Always happy to share his insights and assist where needed, Miguel is an integral and highly valued member of the team. Thanks Miguel for all your hard work!
