🌟 Dulux Envirosolutions site launch with PACT Construction and Admast Painting Pty Ltd Crew!   Great to see another WA project embrace the Dulux Envirosolutions Recovery Program to collect and return their used 15L paint buckets. The project is the Riviere Residence project by PACT Construction with Admast Painting. The Dulux Envirosolutions Recovery Program is an Australian Government accredited Product Stewardship scheme. Through the Recovery Program, the painting contractor, Admast Painting, can return the empty 15L plastic buckets used on the Riviere Residence project, diverting the buckets from landfill. To kick start the project and complete Dulux Envirosolutions training, Dulux put on a BBQ for the site. We had - 260 Tradies on Site 336 sausages (7 left over) 300 bread rolls 264 cans/bottles of drinks 2 kgs onions chopped (no tears) gone in 5minutes!! 1 Dulux Dog!   Well done PACT and Admast Painting! #sustainability #dulux #pactconstruction

Over the weekend of the 20th of October, Dulux teamed up with the Build Now Foundation to participate in the Telethon Family Festival, the largest 24-hour charity event not only in Australia, but throughout the world.   The Build Now Foundation is a not-for-profit led by Director, Stephen Mansfield who is also a Director of the residential building company, Homegroupwa, in WA and VIC. The intention of the foundation is to support families in need through building projects funded by the community and its generous partners.   During this year’s Telethon Family Festival event, the Build Now Foundation set a goal to build 6 custom cubby houses in just under 6 hours! And deliver on this mission they did! Not only was this amazing feat achieved, but WA raised over $83 million dollars in 24 hours over the same weekend. The six cubbies were then donated to children and families in need who are receiving support from Telethon beneficiaries. Brigitte Bosch, Business Development Manager for WA / SA was responsible for all the logistics around paint and painting tools, as well as choosing colours from the design briefs she was supplied. In addition to this, Brigitte ensured paint and painting equipment were delivered to the RAC Arena ahead of time, assisted in setting up paint stations to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible, along with getting in on the action to complete the mission. Dulux Envirosolutions Project Underway in South Australia When AAA Painting and Maintenance started work on their new project at Mawson Lakes, they decided to make sure they are doing their bit for the environment by collecting and returning their used 15L plastic paint buckets through the Dulux Envirosolutions Recovery Program. Through the Australian Government Product Stewardship accredited program, professional painters can return their bucekts to help keep them from landfill. 🌟 39th Dulux Colour Awards – Entries Open & Judges’ Announcement 🌟 The 39th Dulux Colour Awards are now officially open for entries, inviting architects, interior designers, specifiers, and students from Australia and New Zealand to submit their most innovative and inspiring projects. The prestigious awards celebrate exceptional and creative use of Dulux colour in design across a diverse range of interior and exterior spaces, including residential, public, and commercial environments. Five of Australia and New Zealand’s most prolific architects and designers, who have been recognised and awarded for their own work, will judge the 2025 awards entrants’ based on innovation, expression and execution of Dulux colour and product. Andrea Lucena-Orr, Dulux Colour and Communications Manager, will be the sixth and convening judge. This year’s panel includes Director of Interior SJB, Andrew Parr, Kim Bridgland of Edition Office, Rachel Luchetti of Luchetti Krelle, Kerstin Thompson with Kerstin Thompson Architects and Alex McLeod Alex McLeod, with at.space. On being part of this year’s judging panel, Andrew Parr explains that the Dulux Colour Awards provide an exciting opportunity to witness and assess some of the most inspiring and innovative techniques being employed by the best of the best to push the boundaries of colour in architecture and design. 🌟 Congratulations to Jennifer McMaster on receiving the 2024 Australian Institute of Architects' National Emerging Architect Prize! Jennifer is a Dulux Study Tour alumni, having participated in the 2019 tour. She is a founding director of the award-winning practice TriAs Studio and a professor at the University of Sydney. Her exemplary work spans architectural practice, research, teaching, and advocacy. Jennifer’s unwavering enthusiasm for the profession makes her an inspiring role model for how architects can lead society toward a brighter future.
