Yesterday, Downer Professional Services proudly hosted an impactful panel discussion in honour of International Day of People with Disability. Facilitated by our outstanding Disability and Neurodiversity Network, the event featured heartfelt contributions from Maisie Farmer, Tayla Bish, and Debi Bannerman. Their powerful stories spanned personal experiences of living with disabilities and neurodiversity, supporting family members with similar challenges, and working as professionals in the disability employment sector. The panel provided a deeply moving and eye-opening perspective on the importance of understanding, empathy, and proactive inclusion in all aspects of life and work.
