It’s been a wild ride! Twelve months ago, as an unknown entity, we took up temporary residence in a gorgeous space in the Hay St Mall, thanks to the fabulous support of the Activate Perth program. We’ve loved every minute, and we’ve been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive responses of people who have ventured through our doors.
In that time, we’ve partnered with several local artists and on their behalf, we’ve sold
* 34 paintings
* 36 small works
* 22 sculptures
That’s a total of 92 locally produced artworks, large and small, that have reached into the lives of local people, visitors, and travellers. We think this is an incredible achievement, and has provided us with the inspiration and motivation to look further ahead.
It’s now time to take purposeful steps towards new goals, and prioritise our energy.
So that we can focus on these new ventures (more news to come!) we’ll be closing the gallery doors on Saturday 24th February. We will of course be maintaining our online gallery, but we’d love you to pop in over the next few weeks, check out our current artists and maybe snap up a special piece for your home or office while we’re still here in the City of Perth.
We’d like to thank the artists we’ve worked with during the last 12 months; Sherylle Dovaston, Kat Ferguson, Lesley Barrett, Lene Sveen, David Wroth, Judith Paisley, and Greg James.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the fabulous helpers we’ve had on the gallery floor – connecting with art lovers from all over the country, and overseas – Sherylle Dovaston, Glenn Dovaston, Boróka Égerházi Kis, Wendy Low, Lesley Barrett, and Naomi Jensen – THANK YOU!
We’re endlessly grateful for the fantastic support from our sponsors Tarni Resources and of course for the ongoing assistance from Activate Perth and Lease Equity which has helped to make this part of our journey possible.
We’d love to see you soon!
