🦺 👷 As many workplaces begin to return after the holiday period, it’s worth noting the rise in ‘pure risk’ WHS prosecutions observed in some Australian states in recent years. These are cases that don’t rely on an incident but instead focus on potential hazards and compliance. But how do WHS investigators examine WHS offences when there’s no incident to investigate? And how do investigators and prosecutors demonstrate the reasonably practicable measures a business should have implemented to address a hazard?
