🌟 Meet Björn Eriksson: Program Manager for 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱! 🌟 We’re thrilled to announce that Björn Eriksson will lead the program for Communicating The Arts Amsterdam, taking place June 17-19, 2025, at the iconic Rijksmuseum. ✨ 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗻 Björn is a fashion artist and academic with an extraordinary journey. Growing up on a moonlit farm in Sweden surrounded by sheep, bunnies, and chickens, he embraced creativity early. His path has taken him from textile design in Melbourne to tech-textile startups in London, fairtrade soft goods manufacturing efforts in Delhi, research in Prague, and fashion exhibitions in his hometown Norrtälje. With a MFA in Design from HDK-Valand in Gothenburg and as a current PhD candidate at UTS Sydney, Björn explores the fascinating intersection of fashion, sustainability, and AI. His work bridges innovation, culture, and sustainability—perfectly aligned with this year’s theme, "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁?" 💡 Björn believes in the potential of cultural institutions to inspire action for a thriving world. Communicating the Arts (CTA – formerly Communicating the Museum) is the annual rendez-vous for communication professionals working in culture. Since 2000, CTA has been organised in 24 cities and attracted 10 000+ participants. Each forum gathers 200+ communications and culture experts from visual and performing arts, social history and heritage. Over 3 days we assemble international speakers to present inspiring keynote speeches, engaging panel discussions and thought-provoking learning sessions, addressing the latest trends and issues in the arts’ communication, education and public engagement.
