Champion has always been about “celebrating the authenticity and creativity of upcoming artists”. For our latest Puffer campaign, we teamed up with underground Melbourne collective Picked Last to collaboratively create the campaign. Their new track “Room 42” serves as the soundscape and inspiration behind the visuals. Acclaim Magazine chatted with Chantelle Dawoud and Agung Mango of Picked Last to discuss the campaign, what moves them and the group's creative ethos. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g-nCg2WN

Our latest Puffer campaign, "Escape to Room 42" champions Australian music collective Picked Last in a celebration of creativity and community. Serving as a teaser for Picked Last’s upcoming track "Room 42," our new puffer campaign, co-created by PUSH features glimpses of the collective's creative process and celebrates the longstanding link between puffer jackets and hip-hop culture. Through the campaign, we offered Picked Last a platform to promote and build community around their music. The collective co-directed the hero film, utilising the brand’s resources for content creation and concept development, with their crew involved both in front of and behind the camera. “Working with Champion, a nostalgic staple that we have all worn and loved through the years, has been a full-circle moment. It has been an incredible opportunity to collaborate and co-direct this recent campaign with the team. It feels really aligned to what we are about and something that we’re proud to share." S/o to Chantelle Dawoud and the Picked Last crew, the legends at PUSH Ashleigh Parker Sophia de Vries Jonathon Lim and Sarah Lay, MOONBOY STUDIOS and our own Sheleen Jegasothy (she/her) Rory O'Halloran for making this one come to life. #ChampionWhatMovesYou #Puffers #Creators #HipHop

Did you know Champion invented the hoodie? Did you know that our iconic Reverse Weave hoodie even became part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) because of its enduring impact on modern society? Even if you didn't, chances are you've got one in your wardrobe. Our patented Reverse Weave jacks up the fleece's durability and makes it resistant to shrinking. That one innovation has made it a go-to for generations. Our latest campaign 'Through It All', is fuelled by real stories from people in our community, celebrating the hoodie as a constant source of comfort through life's ups and downs and an icon woven into the fabric of youth sub-culture.

The fact that there is a (NBL Champion) pride round, the fact of just having it, and the league being willing and open to celebrate my community”, said Humphries.
