General Managers and senior staff from New South Wales’ leading hotels convened at the Hilton Sydney for the recent Accommodation Australia (AA) NSW Hotel Market and Economic Outlook Update. The event delivered a positive outlook despite ongoing cost-of-living pressures and global economic uncertainties. Rebuilding a skilled workforce remains a critical priority for the accommodation industry in New South Wales 🏨 At the recent Accommodation Australia NSW State Advisory Committee meeting, the challenges of skills shortages, migration, and training were front and centre. "Skills, migration, and training are always a focus at our meetings as we look for ways to address the chronic staff shortages most of our members face, particularly in regional areas," said Stacey McBride, General Manager of AA NSW.
