  • Our towns Christmas Lights will be switched on by Santa and some very special friends from Mullingar Arts Centre - Centre For The Performing Arts this Friday on the Market Square from 5-6pm! MC for this festive event will be Noel O’Farrell. Midlands 103 will also be broadcasting this event live on the evening and there will be free parking throughout all the Council off-street carparks for the entire day! This event is being run by Mullingar Christmas Lights Committee with the support of Mullingar Chamber and Westmeath County Council.

  • What an unforgettable evening of celebration, recognition at the Mullingar Chamber Awards 2024! On Friday, November 1st, Mullingar's business community gathered at the Mullingar Park Hotel to honour outstanding achievements and contributions. Mullingar Chamber President James Bourke opened the night with a warm welcome, highlighting the pivotal role businesses play in our community's economic and social fabric. Minister Peter Burke TD echoed these sentiments, noting that both large and small businesses drive growth, employment and prosperity in our area. The evening was expertly hosted by MC Ronan Berry, who guided us through the award categories and introduced our exceptional finalists.   • Introducing our newest member for 2024: Joli Hair & Beauty Joli Hair & Beauty has been thriving in Mullingar for over 17 years, proudly serving the community with exceptional hair and beauty services. The salon employs up to 12 staff members, several of whom have been with Joli since its opening.
