About us
The tourism industry of Kerry has used the platform of KTIF since its establishment in 2020 to form solutions to challenges faced by the industry and represent the industry with a collective voice at both county and national level. KTIF works to the profile of and advocates for tourism industry education and upskilling. In 2021 and 2022, KTIF’s active sustainability sub-committee worked with industry partners to achieve a Global Destination Sustainability ranking of thirteenth in the world. The federation also continues to lead the collaborative destination marketing for Kerry through its tourism brand Discover Kerry. The redevelopment of www.discoverkerry.com in 2023 is a partnership project between KTIF, KerrySciTech and Kerry County Council.

Today marks one of the most significant milestones of my life: I am officially an Irish citizen. After nearly 19 years of living in Ireland, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, joy, and pride to finally call this incredible country my home in every sense. Ireland welcomed me nearly two decades ago, and since then, it has shaped me in ways I could never have imagined. This land, with its stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture, has become far more than just a place to live—it’s the place where I’ve built my life, my family, grown as a person, and connected with amazing people. To officially join the Irish nation is an absolute privilege, one I do not take lightly. Ireland’s values of community, kindness, and resilience resonate deeply with me, and I couldn’t be prouder to embrace them as my own. Over 200 Irish Incentive industry #EventProfs came together on Friday to close out and celebrate the year at the annual SITE Ireland | Society for Incentive Travel Excellence Charity Christmas Lunch, in the #FabulouslyFestive surrounds of the Guinness Storehouse 🎄 #TeamKerry was well represented and it was a fantastic afternoon connecting and engaging with industry partners from around the country, including many of our Associate Member DMC'S and PCO's.
