One in five children live in consistent poverty in Ireland and two in five children are living in material deprivation. If you have 10 minutes today please take the time to listen to the amazing Sarah Edmonds, CEO of Irish Youth Foundation on RTE's Drivetime last night shining a light on the incredible work the charity does to level the playing field for disadvantaged children and young people across the island of Ireland. They support children and young people through key transitions in their life and work closely with a huge number of community groups and services across the country. See link to interview here; https://lnkd.in/eSmSn3Gm Christmas is a time for giving and we have been so delighted to host a Christmas Gift Drive for three amazing initiatives that are supported by the Irish Youth Foundation in Dublin, Cork and Belfast. We have been overwhelmed by the incredible generosity shown so far from our Glandore members and wider network in our charity gift drive. But there’s still time to help us make an even bigger impact on the lives of young people across the island of Ireland! Each Glandore location has its own unique donation link, making it easy for you to give wherever you are. Your kindness has the power to provide vital opportunities and support to those who need it most!🎄 ⭐ Dublin: Just Ask After School Club. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/eizYSDPK Special thanks to Declan and the team at the Just Ask After School Club who welcomed our Glandore team into their space a few of weeks ago to show us the level of incredible work they do. Just Ask are an after-school support project located in the heart of Dublin’s North West Inner City which transforms the lives of children and young people, with a focus on providing a safe and productive place for children to go to after school. Well done Beatriz Rodrigues and her wonderful LIFT Team consisting of Bárbara Grand, Chiara Paudice, Mark, Clare Kelly and Maksym Kozachok. A great 8 weeks with LIFT Ireland 👏🏼 #GlandoreNetwork
Yesterday we closed our 8 week LIFT Ireland programme that I had the pleasure to facilitate at Glandore. Each week we analysed a new topic and self-reflected on how to become better leaders in both our personal and professional lives. Together with this amazing group, we all fully committed to our roundtables and openly dived into each topic. Thank you for your trust and participation. 🙏

Meet Emanuela, our wonderful Office Manager. Emanuela has been part of the Glandore team for 6 years. Not only does she keep our offices running smoothly, but she's also a talented multi-tasker, often stepping in to cover receptions and assist with Operations. Originally from near Milan, Italy, Emanuela has called Ireland home for the past 15 years. At the weekends, you can find her exploring the great outdoors. She's an avid hiker and runner, with several marathons under her belt. Recently, she even conquered an ultramarathon! 💪 #GlandoreNetwork
